Okay so i know i have been AWFUL about keeping everyone updated, but i am finally back at work and have high speed internet so it will be a lot easier now and i can do it all the time! We have been so blessed and can't wait for all the wonderful things to come in our future. We have an incredible little girl who loves to laugh, eat and sleep! How often does that happen? I know it will cease sometime in the near future but we are enjoying every moment of what we think is the best baby in the world! Here are some recent pics of the fam and Allie Harris being silly. We can't imagine a better gift than what we have already received and we hope that everyone has a blessed holiday and new year season!!! By the way, have i mentioned that Allie Harris is the coolest thing that ever happened? Can't wait for her to meet you all very soon...

Here with her DeDe, my mom, who happens to be the best (and hottest) grandmother around! She loves playing and laughing with DeDe. I think mom might be the baby whisperer... We have tried to see each other as much as possible and my mom has done everything in her power to get here to see her beautiful granddaughter. We can't tell you how much we appreciate all you do for us and how wonderful and helpful you have been!

She is always happy, i think she has my personality but graydon's disposition. A great combo! So she likes to talk, laugh and have fun but is relaxed and laidback as can be. We are all doing great, gearing up for what will be our first family christmas. We will be getting together with all of my family and we cannot wait! Love to everyone!!!!!

Okay, here is the fam, on no sleep but feeling good! Graydon is dressed and ready for his dove hunt they have every year and i am just excited to be out of the house!!!! My mom and dad came down to stay for a bit, mom stayed for over a week and i can't thank her enough for all her help. I cried so hard when she left! Here is my mom (dee dee) with Allie Harris at a luncheon at my in laws house. Allie is 8 days old here and wearing her pretty new daygown...

I finally got to get out of the house and take a walk so we put Allie Harris stroller and walked down to my in laws house. I realized how out of shape i am!!!!

Here she is on the way home from the hospital in her pretty dress! Slightly huge on her!!! i will add many more when i can get to a higher speed connection than our house dial up! Allie Harris was born friday august 31st at 12:16 pm and weighing 6lbs 3oz and 19 1/2 inches long. Her cousin murphy diddle was also born the same day! We are so blessed and excited, she is so beautiful and so far good!!! love you all and keep checking back for more...

Here is my big belly at almost 38 weeks! Went to the doc yesterday and he said if she doesn't come before the 7th (my due date is the 14th) then i can elect to induce anytime after the 7th. He seems to think she will be here before then, but i am not so sure! Can't wait to post pictures of her! I know i look so fabulous, this is in the kitchen right before bed time (and right after i ate the bowl of chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream!)

This is the most wonderful stroller! It can face me or turn the other direction, it has a seat that fully reclines for when she is new and goes different levels all the way to sitting up straight. It also doubles as a jogger/walker as well as an everyday stroller which is so nice. And ofcourse i LOVE the bright lime green!!! It also comes with a sun sheild(much needed), a rain sheild and a foot muff warmer : ) and my carseat attaches into it.

Shower at the Bank

Here i am talking about something ( arent' i always yapping?) The Bank hosted a shower and it was absolutely way too much and i can't thank everyone enough! My mother in law said, after seeing all the food, gifts and sweet coworkers,"no wonder you love working here!" I do love working here because i work with great people and they have watched my belly grow from 14 weeks until now at 37 and been so supportive.

...the food was incredible, everybody pitched in and made something. I love the diaper cake too! What a cute idea? She surrounded it with receiving blankets and baby products as well.

My sweet mother in law and the 'end of the work day greasy me'! Everyone failed to tell me how nasty i was looking and that i could have used a brush or maybe i don't know some color in my face! But it's okay because we had so much fun. My good friend carol in the background looking clueless for the moment!

If you ever come to visit in Clarksdale you must have some Sally/Alice Chow cake. I can't even explain how delicious they are. I thought this was so cute i almost didn't want to eat it! yeah, i got over that one real fast and had a huge piece!!!

This was a come and go shower and supposed to be cake and food and enjoy each others company, but everyone was so nice to bring all these wonderful gifts. We got so many beautiful and practical things! I washed them all that night and put them up just in case we needed them. Thank you, again to everyone! And i'll be back to work soon...

Allie Harris's Baby Room!!!

Here is where i will be spending a lot of my time! In the most comfortable chair ever! I just sit in it and rock and wait for her to get here very, very soon!

The room is large, approximately 21 x 13 so we had plenty of room to go ahead and put her little farm table and chairs given to us by some of my mom's friends. If she is like me though, there won't be many tea parties, more like coloring it black or something horrific like that! Mom says payback is great...

The double bed is an antique from graydon's side and it is actually his sisters, but we are borrowing it for a while! We found fabric to match and coordinate with everything in the room and i am so happy with how it all turned out.

And here is the grand entrance, the first thing you see is here beautiful bed and her little name on the wall. We are so blessed and we can't thank my mom enough for coming down and redecorating literally our whole house! just by moving things around and bringing in a few new things she made it our home and we thank her for that. Allie Harris will be here in around 4 weeks!!!

Okay here i am (at work on casual friday) with around 6 weeks to go! Wow, that's a huge belly! I feel like i swallowed a watermelon! Thankfully she hasn't spread every where too much...yet!

okay, this is right up there with the luggage. I registered for this precious child size chair not thinking i would really get it, but my friends Cassie Walhood and Marley Bennett got it for her with her Initials monogrammed on it! It looks so cute in her room...

My mom gave me this wonderful diaper backpack/bag. A friend of mine had it and said it was so nice all the way through toddler years because it is easy to carry.

Baby Showers

These are the beautiful hostesses of our Clarksdale Shower! Again, it was absolutley so nice and everyone blessed us with so many wonderful gifts for allie. It is always hard to move away, but we have the nicest (and might i add cutest!) group of girls here in Clarksdale and they have made being here a place i truly call home! I hope they know how much they all mean to us and i can't thank them enough. From left to right, Mary Evelyn Stonestreet, Raychel Green, my sweet sister in law Julie Flowers, Jennie Sherard, Callie McMillin, another sweet sister in law and Allie Harris's other godmother Amelia Flowers and Joyce Marie Sherman. My good friend Ashleigh Barnes from Jackson, MS also hosted but could not make it because she is also pregnant and due around the same time with a little boy! Thank you again for everything ; )

Cynthia and her mom Dee gave us this adorable luggage set! I don't know where we will be going but i cannot wait to use it! How freaking cute is that, i mean seriously.

Baby showers

OnJune 30th my fabulous friends threw me a baby shower in knoxville and it was so wonderful to see everyone! It made me tear up to see how excited they are over little Allie Harris! From the left is my precious sister in law Meghan Diddle (due the week before us with John Murphy Diddle!), Tinsley Youmans, me at 7 and a half months, Samma Harper and Leigh Stevens. AK and Lynn Vogel and Cathy Youmans also gave the shower but could not be there. I hope you all know how thankful we are for all you did and we can't wait for allie harris to come back and see all of you.
